The character development starts off really good but everything moves unbelievably fast. After so many years of isolation Jackson easily goes out to a major event without any issues? He’s seen Harley four times and just kisses her with all of his deeper issues not stopping him. It had the potential to be a great story but it was rushed. Disappointed with the lack of content that not only ruined the characters story but made the story so short.

Could not get beyond the 200 page mark. This could be a good book. But if it doesn’t grab my attention in 200 pages it’s probably not going to. Not for me.

Good start but lacking content

The character development starts off really good but everything moves unbelievably fast. After so many years of isolation Jackson easily goes out to a major event without any issues? He’s seen Harley four times and just kisses her with all of his deeper issues not stopping him. It had the potential to be a great story but it was rushed. Disappointed with the lack of content that not only ruined the characters story but made the story so short.

I like the content of this book, however it took me about 2 hours to read it. When I saw there were another 4 books in the series at $4.99 each I decided to not move forward. Way to expensive for the length of the books.

Amazing!! If you have never read one of Charlotte’s series, let me tell you she knows how to keep you wanting more. This series is mysterious and exciting. She does such a good job developing the characters at such a slow delicate pace. Just when you think you get them, she shows you another side of them. Can’t wait to read book 2!!
